Privacy Statement

Draft · to be reviewed before launchLast updated 20 October 2026

This is what LuckyBox stores about you and why. It is a first draft and will be reviewed before LuckyBox opens to the public.

What we store

  • Your account: username, a one-way hash of your password (never the password itself), your balance and level.
  • Sign-in records: the IP addresses you sign in from, used to protect your account and to stop multiple accounts.
  • Your opens and items: every box you open, what it gave you, and the provably fair roll behind it.
  • Shipping: the names and addresses you enter to have items shipped, and the orders you place.
  • Chat: messages you post in the public chat.

Cookies and your browser

One cookie, lb.sid, keeps you signed in. Your browser also remembers a few settings on your own device: light or dark theme, sound on or off, whether chat is open, speedrun, and a random id for the open tab so the chat can count who is online. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.

Who else sees it

Your username, your pulls and your chat messages are visible to other players. Addresses are seen only by the staff who pack your order and by the carrier. The page fonts load from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when they load.

Your choices

You can ask for a copy of your data or for your account to be closed through the Contact page.
