Terms of Service

These terms describe how LuckyBox works today. They are a first draft and will be reviewed before LuckyBox opens to the public.

1. Who can use LuckyBox

You must be 18 or older. One account per person. LuckyBox is not available where the law does not allow it, and the list of places it is not offered will be published here.

2. Credit

Boxes are opened with LuckyBox credit. 1 credit is worth $1. Credit can only be used on LuckyBox: it cannot be cashed out or sold. You can tip credit to another player from the chat, within the site's tip limits; tips between accounts that share a login history are refused.

3. Boxes and odds

Each box lists every item inside it and the exact chance of each. When you open a box, one item is picked on our server at that moment from your provably fair seed pair, and it is added to your items. An open cannot be undone. See Provably Fair for how to check any open.

4. Your items

An item you pull is yours to keep, to swap or to withdraw. Physical items are shipped to the address you give; gift cards are delivered as codes in your orders. Swapping turns an item into credit at the value shown, and a swap is final. Once you ask for an item to be shipped or sent, it can no longer be swapped or withdrawn.

Withdrawing pays an item's value to your crypto wallet. You pick the items and a coin; the items leave your inventory and the coin amount is fixed at that moment's rate. Every withdrawal is reviewed by staff before it is paid, and if one is turned down the items' value comes back to you as credit. You can withdraw up to what you have spent on LuckyBox, less what you have already withdrawn. A minimum and a daily limit apply, and bonus credit that carries a wagering requirement has to be wagered first. Credit itself is not withdrawn.

5. Shipping

Shipping regions, times and costs will be listed here before launch. What happens if an item is out of stock will also be set out here.

6. Free tries

A free try shows an opening with the box's real odds on your own device. Nothing is charged and nothing is added to your items.

7. Fair play

No multiple accounts, no automated play, and no use of stolen payment methods. We may ask for proof of identity before shipping high-value items, and we may close accounts that break these rules.

8. Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with its date.
